Tracking page

The tracking page is the public web page a recipient opens from the link in their messages. It shows what is in the order, how far it has got and, once delivered, when it arrived. Recipients do not need to sign in.

Where to find it: /t/<code> on your Tracovy web address. The link is the {{link}} placeholder in the recipient emails and text messages (for example Order / En-Route). The order’s tracking number also works in place of the code, for example /t/PL00000001. Who can use it: anyone with the link or the tracking number. It is not behind a login, which is why it shows so little personal information.

  • A recipient wants to know whether their delivery is on its way.
  • Someone in your office is asked “where is my order?” and wants to see what the recipient sees.
  • A customer quotes the tracking number to their own buyer.
Item What it means Why it matters
Track delivery The page heading. -
Tracking number or order reference The order’s tracking number, or its reference if it has none. How the recipient recognises their order.
Overall status One word for the whole order (see Statuses below). The order is only as far along as its slowest parcel, so a two-parcel order with one parcel still in the warehouse reads “Preparing”.
Order reference “Order …” under the heading, when the order has both a tracking number and a different reference. Helps if the recipient knows the shop’s order number.
Delivering to The destination town and postcode only. Enough for the recipient to recognise their delivery, but never the name, street or phone number - the link can be forwarded.
Items Each line on the order with its quantity, for example “Sofa x1”. Collection lines show “collect x1”. Lets the recipient check what is coming (and what will be taken away).
Parcels Each parcel with its own status. Shows when part of an order is out and part is not.
Proof of delivery Appears once the order is delivered: the delivery date and time, and links to the delivery photos. The recipient can see the delivery happened. Photos are only shown when the page is opened from the link the recipient was sent, not from the tracking number.
Status What it means
Preparing Packed or staged in the warehouse. Also shown before anything is packed.
Dispatched Loaded on the van.
Out for delivery The route has started and the parcel is on its way.
Delivered The driver has recorded the delivery.
Returned The parcel has come back to the warehouse.
Cancelled The parcel, or every parcel on the order, has been cancelled.
Message Why
We couldn’t find that tracking code. The code or tracking number is wrong - or the order was delivered more than 30 days ago. Tracking links stop working 30 days after delivery so an old, forwarded link does not keep showing where the order went.
  • If a recipient says the link is not working, check the order was not delivered more than a month ago.
  • Give out the tracking number over the phone, not the link. The number shows the status but not the doorstep photos.
  • The page refreshes only when reloaded; it does not update live.
